Welcome to DFS Equities

DFS Equities was established by the Managing Director, Jim Purnell, in January 2000 under the business name DataTech Financial Services Pty Limited (ABN: 31 091 233 439), to provide quality service, information and share dealing expertise for online share investors.

DFS Equities has an Australian Financial Services Licence and has formed an alliance with several ASX Participating Organisations. The Participating Organisations execute and settle all transactions on behalf of DFS Equities. This means clients can trade their shares directly online or instruct the advisors at DFS Equities to place and monitor trades on their behalf.

DFS Equities is able to provide an advisory and dealing service for professional investors and a dealing only service for retail clients.

DFS Equities is supported by two independent analysts who provide in depth fundamental and technical research across a range of areas and write our In Focus publication. Research is also sourced from other independent research groups. Our research is available to professional investors on request.
